The Kyle Pease Foundation was founded in 2011 by brothersKyle & Brent Pease upon completion of their first triathlon inApril of that year. Kyle wanted to share the experience ofinclusion with others, so the idea of KPF was born. After a fewmonths of work, the group received their IRS determination asa 501(c)3 not for profit organization, and off they went. InMarch of 2012 they supported their first athlete and thebrothers, and the organization has continued to grow sincethen.

Research shows that an in-chair athlete experiences the same rush of endorphins their push-assist athlete does. While everyone loves race swag, in-chair athletes and their families get to be like everyone else for a moment! Parents and loved ones get to cheer on their athlete just like everyone else. In-chair athletes get to say, “I did that!” KPF provides a sense of normalcy for those moments that these families do not get anywhere else as well as additional social networking opportunities that families with disabilities often struggle to find.
KPF offers opportunities for individuals with disabilities to stay active, make friends, and attend social events with no age limit. Inclusion has no age limit.
